Question

wigs ????
I found a white bodied Molly (with one leg unattached... poor girl) and there is only strands of her hair left !! Its mainly at the top, and the underneath seems to have ripped out.... BUT...for a quarter im not going to complain.

I want to keep her original body/limbs/head so was wondering if they can replace just the hair ???

TIA,
Tracey

I just looked at the hospital info on the website and it says you can replace a head of same doll for $38, but nothing about just a wig. Not sure if a phone call would get you a better answer though.

I had the same problem with my Samantha. If you are handy with a needle and have some time you can sew hair into her wig and when I did it there was NO difference. It looks fantastic. The album is in my signature if you're interested. Good Luck!

I agree! Don't risk getting the wig replaced, just add more hair in the thin spots. Since Samantha's hair is dark, you can go to almost any african american beauty supply store and ask for modacyrlic/synthetic weft hair and a weave needle (it's curved so it's easier to use. The other advantage is, since it's meant to be sewn on people, the hair will stand up to almost anything, and last and last.

I have some in pink and purple I'm sorely tempted to use on Kirsten. I think a punk doll would be adorable. Now I just need a victim.. er patient

I couple of weeks ago I called AG to ask if I could just get a wig replaced and they said that they don't do that, they just replace the whole head.

If you remove Molly's head and send her in headless. When you get her back remove the wig and attach it to the original head.

Just an idea.

Be careful though, sometimes they just send a whole new doll. Include a note to be sure they dont do that.
